BAGEL ME

Bagel nirvana.

The place is a little short on seating due to a street widening or something, but Bagel Me in Tustin would be worth driving to if the bagels were being sold from a cart. They offer sourdough, garlic, onion, cheese, cheese onion, cheese jalapeno, cheese everything, everything, sesame seed, glazer, whole-wheat glazer, salt, egg, poppy seed, cinnamon raisin, energy bar, multi-grain, plain, jalapeno, very berry, strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate chip bagels. I haven’t tried every one, so I can’t attest to them all, but everyone I have tried has been superior. The Glazer is perhaps the most popular, with cinnamon sugar, and I especially like the cheese jalapeno.

And then there are the toppings for those amazing bagels, including Crunchy Peanut Butter, Nutty Monkey (cinnamon raisin bagel, crunchy peanut butter, sliced banana, cinnamon sugar), Cinnamon Toasted (choice of bagel with butter and cinnamon sugar), Plain or Lite Cream Cheese, Specialty Cream Cheese, Lox Spread, and a Lox set-up, with Lox, Red Onion, Tomato & Cream Cheese (served with cinnamon baked apples and bagel chips).

Plus, Bagel Me offers far more than just bagels. You can get a a number of egg melts, bagel sandwiches, omelets, and some amazing smoothies. They offer a French Toast breakfast made from an egg bagel that is incredible.
