BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE OF AARON P. MORRIS:
Aaron P. Morris has extensive experience in virtually all phases of civil litigation in both California and Federal Courts, including numerous bench and jury trials. Additionally, Morris has handled numerous appeals, arguing before both the Ninth Circuit and California appellate courts. The majority of his practice involves business litigation, first amendment law, breach of contract and defamation suits. He is the founder and current President of the California Defamation Lawyers Association. He has represented clients from such far flung locales as Guernsey and India. Morris has worked as an adjunct professor at both Whittier Law School and National University, teaching advanced litigation techniques. Morris is a writer and lecturer on the subjects of law and law office efficiency, and has been a featured speaker at such functions as the American Bar Association TechShow. He prosecutes and defends anti-SLAPP motions, and is author of the California SLAPP Law and Internet Defamation blogs.
